Marine 14007 GM Truck High Output Alternator

This JS Alternators Marine certified high-output 170 amp 6 phase alternator is an excellent upgrade for boats that use the popular "GM LS Truck" bolt pattern alternator. Many boat manufacturers utilized this style alternator from the late 1990s to 2018 (please check the technical drawing against your stock alternator's measurements to ensure compatibility). The alternator is provided with a simple single wire pigtail plug.

All Marine Applications will come with a 45 mm. Serpentine Pulley and will require installing a 1/2 inch - 1 inch shorter belt.

To ensure proper function, connect an ignition switched 12V+ wire from the original alternator plug to the supplied alternator plug. This unit is equipped with (12) diodes and twin rectifier plates for excellent durability, making it suitable for high-end audio installations. The included 6 groove serpentine pulley has a 2-inch measurement. This unit meets or exceeds SAEJ1171, ISO 8846, and USCG Title 33 standards for ignition protection. All JS Alternators marine units are manufactured in the USA and come with a 1-year limited warranty. They are hard black anodized and then grey enamel coated to provide the best possible corrosion resistance.
