HD stands for Heavy Duty - and The American Bass HD sub earns its name with over four thousand watts of peak power. The three-inch voice coil power a 300 ounce ferrite magnet, delivering tremendous bass to the Kevlar reinforced paper cone. A sub designed for extreme bass needs an equally extreme suspension, so American Bass added a double Conex spider and oversized three-layer foam surround. Give it a ported box between 1.25 and 1.75 cubic feet for the best output!
